We use artificial intelligence to work faster and more consistently, and we help our clients put sensible AI policies in place. This page explains how we use it ourselves.
What we use
We use Claude, from Anthropic, on a business plan. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, what we put into it is not used to train their models. We do not use free or personal AI accounts for client work.
What we use it for
- drafting and checking documents, proposals and reports;
- writing and reviewing scripts and procedures for IT tasks;
- researching technical problems and summarising information;
- helping us work through routine administration in our own systems.
The rules we follow
- A person is always responsible. Anything AI produces is reviewed by a member of our team before it reaches you or is used on your systems.
- We share as little as possible. We do not put passwords, security keys, payment details or more personal data than the task needs into AI tools.
- Changes to your systems are made deliberately. AI may help us prepare a change, but we decide whether and when it is made.
- Our team is trained on our policy. Everyone at PC Support Midlands has read and accepted our internal AI acceptable use policy.
If you would rather we did not
If you do not want AI tools used in work on your account, tell us and we will note it on your record and work without them.
